Evans, GA- Mrs. Doris J.S. McWhinnie, beloved wife of Lt. Col. Hugh McWhinnie, Ret., entered into rest on Friday, September 5, 2008.

A private memorial services will be held on Thursday, September 11, 2008 with Chaplin Michael Riddle officiating.

Additional survivors include, her daughter, Eleanor A. St.Clair and husband, C. Duncan St. Clair, III of Grovetown, GA.; two sons, Hugh McWhinnie and wife, Victoria of Dunwoody, GA. and Andrew C. McWhinnie and wife Janet of Richardson, TX.; nine grandchildren, Mary S. Miller and husband, Vincent of Evans, GA., Duncan St. Clair, Elizabeth McWhinnie, Michael McWhinnie, Andy McWhinnie, Justin McWhinnie, Kellan McWhinnie, Ashley Tatman and Madison Tatman; great grandchildren, Madeline and Jillian Miller.

A native of Glasgow, Scotland, Mrs. McWhinnie was a homemaker.
