Diane S. McClellan

Diane S. McClellan, 77, entered her eternal rest on Saturday, March 21, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Born in Emanuel County in 1949, Diane lived most of her life in the CSRA where she attended John Milledge Elementary and Tubman Middle School. In her younger years she worked at Murray Biscuit Company, Blakeney Elementary School, and Goody Two Shoes. She was a current member of Miracle Baptist Church in Hephzibah where she was active with the Women’s Ministry and Food Pantry. She loved her church, to sew, fish, and play cards.

Left to cherish her memory, Diane is survived by her loving husband of 62 years, John W. McClellan, Jr; her children John McClellan (Lisa), Tammy McClellan, Karen Spires, Stephanie Baldowski (Henry), Vicky Bartlett (Johnny) and Tiffany Bucio Gaspar (Santiago); her grandchildren Andy, Trace, Brittany, Lilia, Devin, John, Michael, Dillion, Megan, Johnny, James and Ashley; great grandchildren Easton, Braelynn, Hailey, Aaron, Nevaeh, Alex, Danny, Thomas, Naomi, Rilynn, and Kinzley, and her siblings, Shirley Watts, Danny Simpson (Julie) and James Simpson (Tanya). She is predeceased by her parents, William “Bill” L. and Leona Hall Simpson and her brother, Billy L. Simpson (Mary).

A Memorial Service will be held at 2pm Saturday, March 28, 2026, at Miracle Baptist Church, 1308 Hephzibah-McBean Road, Hephzibah, GA 30815.
