Diana Hopson

Mrs. Diana Maria Hopson, beloved wife of Rondall, entered into rest on Sunday, November 9, 2025 at her residence.

Graveside services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, November 13, 2025 at Hillcrest Memorial Park with Chaplain Dexter Lambert officiating.

Mrs. Hopson was born in Augsburg, Germany in 1935 to Heinrich and Karolina Kurz. In 1959, she arrived in the United States as an au pair and started the path to become a US citizen. She met Rondall Hopson, who was to become the love of her life, in the late 60s in Bethesda, Maryland. They married in 1967 and started a family.

In addition to her husband, Ron, she is survived by her children, Markus Hopson and Anita Hopson-Schneider (Trey); her grandchildren, Brock Herbert (Christina), Chris Schneider and Ryan Schneider (Britney); and her great grandchildren, Skylar A. Herbert, Grayson Herbert, Caylee Schneider, and Olivia Schneider. She is also survived by a godson, Markus Hess.
