Deborah Fox Thomas

Deborah Fox Thomas went to be with her Lord Friday, April 28, 2023, at her home.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, May 3, 2023, at 11:00 a.m.at Central Christian Church, 220 Crawford Avenue, Augusta 30904. The service will follow immediately after visitation at 12:00 p.m in the church and will be officiated by Reverend Milton Summerall.

Internment will follow the service at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Deborah was the daughter of John F. and Juanita Fox. She was born in Augusta and lived the majority of her life in Martinez, Georgia.

She graduated from Richmond Academy and Augusta College. She worked for the Richmond County Department of Family and Children Services until the birth of her first son. She was a member of Central Christian Church all of her life where she was a member of the choir and taught many Sunday school classes.

She enjoyed camping and traveling with her family and friends all of her life.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother, James Larry Fox. She is survived by her husband of 52 years, Frank Thomas, her sons, Brandon Thomas (Amy) and Baylan Thomas (Amie), and four grandchildren (Carter, Clay, Brady, Molly).

Pallbearers will be grandsons (Carter Thomas, Clay Thomas, and Brady Thomas), nephews (Andrew Thomas and Jamie Bass), and close family friend (Jason Stanford).

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be sent to Central Christian Church, 220 Crawford Avenue, Augusta, Georgia 30904.
