David E. Abbed

Augusta, GA – Mr. David E. Abbed, 88, the beloved and devoted husband of Lula N. Abbed passed away on Thursday, September 18, 2014. David was born in Chattanooga, TN and reared in Knoxville, TN. He was of the Baptist faith. He served in the United States Navy in WW II. David retired from Du Pont, SRP.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, September 22, 2014 at Westover Memorial Park with Reverend Marion Jay officiating.

In addition to his wife, David is survived by two daughters, Carolyn Vickers and Peggy Williams Racicot; and niece, Lynne Hand of Augusta, GA. He is preceded in death by his son, David D. Abbed.
