David "Bill" Dunn

David “Bill” Dunn, 77, entered into rest on March 25, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, March 30, 2023 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Rev. Robert Lehn officiating. Interment to follow at West View Cemetery.

Bill was a proud graduate of the University of Georgia and remained an avid Dawg fan for life. He served the State of Georgia for over 30 years as a probation officer. One of his many passions in life was collecting artifacts, curios, and memories from travel, whether the trips be his or those of a close friend or relative. He also loved being on his motorcycle on the open road. Bill was very proud of his heritage and always eager to share his family’s history throughout the generations, from Scotland and Ireland to present day America. Bill was a masterful storyteller and could make any conversation more interesting. His family will sorely miss all these things.

Bill is survived by his son, David Dunn (Sherry); his granddaughter, Tosha Dunn; his sister, Carol Howell (Eric); and his nephews, Grant Howell (Brie) and Trey Reeves (Lesley).

The family will receive friends Wednesday evening, March 29, 2023 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
