David Alan Ford

Augusta, GA – Mr. David Alan Ford, 58, entered into rest on Monday, November 30, 2015.

A celebration of life will be held at 3:00 PM on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Rev. Chris Brown officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 PM until service time.

Mr. Ford was born and raised in Steubenville, Ohio. He had worked at International Paper since 1977. Mr. Ford loved his family, his job, his co-workers, and loved fitness and exercise.

Mr. Ford is survived by his wife, Debbie Dupre Ford; his mother, Dolores Jean Ford; his children, Eli Ford, Nakeisha Caines (Rob), and David Kyle Ford; his brother, Roger Ford (Carolyn); his sister, Laura Forbes (Caesar); his grandchildren, Dillon Ford, Ethan Ford, Addlyann Ford, Zack Ford, Zoey McElroy, and Paris McElroy; his sister-in-law, Debbie Ford; and by his nieces and nephews, Darin Krueger, Jessica Krueger, Allison Finley (Dan), Alex Finley, Spencer Ford, Austin Ford, Mitchell Ford, Cathy Cunningham (Dan), J.C. Rager-Ford, Erica Ford, and Morgan Ford. He was preceded in death by his father, Harry Paul Ford; his brother, Earl Ross Ford; and his grandson, Kole Aiden Ford.
