Cynthia Anne Purvis

Ms. Cynthia Anne Purvis entered into rest on Monday, August 5, 2024 at her residence.

Services will be private at a later date.

Ms. Purvis was a lifelong resident of Augusta. She was one of two children born to John D. Douglas and Bernice Tankersley Douglas. She was a music lover and an avid pool player. She’ll be remembered as the life of the party who enjoyed having fun. 

She is survived by her children, Mike Douglas and Matthew Purvis, a sister, Pamela Douglas Baud and her beloved fur baby, Dixie.
