Cynthia Ann Grant

Cynthia “Cindy” Ann Watson Grant passed away on Monday, April 6, 2026 at home surrounded by love in Evans, Georgia. She was proudly born to the late Bobby and Kitty Watson in San Angelo, Texas and carried her big Texan laugh with her always.

She is survived by her devoted husband, Gregory Grant; daughter and son-in-law, Katie and Michael Fritz; son and daughter in law, Corey and Carmen Grant; precious grandchildren, Olivia and Jackson Fritz and Caden, Colter, and Collins Grant; sister Kathy Robinson and family; sister Karen Boggs and family; and loyal dog Hudson.

She resided part time in Oak Island, NC where she developed a deep connection with the community. Her love of the island was shown through her work at the Oak Island Pier and beach patrol for the Oak Island Police Department. She had a passion for her volunteer work as a nest parent for the Oak Island Sea Turtle Protection Program. She lived her life to the fullest in every way possible. Her family will cherish memories of the tides of St. Catherine’s Island, busting beach watermelons, ice skating, trips to the candy shop, and her infectious, outgoing energy. Cindy was steadfast in her Christian faith and deeply devoted to her relationship with Jesus Christ. Her family is comforted in knowing, He has welcomed her home.

A celebration of life will take place on May 17, 2026 at 1:00 at 801 Ocean Event Center located at 801 Ocean Dr., Oak Island, NC.
