Cheryl Ann LaPointe

Cheryl LaPointe, 63, of Grovetown, GA passed away on August 24, 2025 in Grovetown.

Cheryl was born in Taunton, MA to Eldwin & Dorothy Buckley on November 21, 1961. She married Scott LaPointe on August 28, 1993 in Summerville, SC.

She worked as a Nurse and in the medical field for 40 years.

She was heavily involved in her Church, including; Sisters in Christ, UMW, A/V team, and Drive up Prayer. She also volunteered for SouthEast Hospice, Disaster Recovery Outreach, Golden Harvest Food Bank, and NODA.

Cheryl is preceded in death by George Buckley, Richard Buckley, Dorothy Buckley, and Eldwin Buckley.

Cheryl is survived by Scott LaPointe, Sarah Medeiros, Benjamin and Sarah LaPointe, Sharon & Donald Silvia, William & Michelle Buckley, James Buckley, Frank & Darleen Graham, and many nieces & nephews.

Funeral services will be held 11:00am, Friday August 29, 2025 at Lewis Memorial United Methodist Church with Pastor Ben Wills officiating.
