Charles Wheatley

Augusta, GA – Charles P. Wheatley, 89, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 30, 2014.

Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, October 3, 2014 at Westover Memorial Park with Rev. Thomas Murphy celebrant.

Charles was a United States Army Veteran and retired from Dupont at Savannah River Site. He also worked a number of years at The Oxford Shop and J&L’s Men’s Wear. Charles was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church.

Survivors include his brother; Robert R. Wheatley of Columbia, SC, several nieces, nephews, and his beloved dog, Ernie. Special thanks to his caregivers; Kim, Charles, and Carl.
