Charles Hall Davis Williamson, Jr

Augusta, GA – Charles Hall Davis Williamson, Jr., loving husband of 69 years of Muriel Williamson, entered into rest on Sunday, March 13, 2016.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at St. John United Methodist Church with Rev. Gary DeMore officiating.

Mr. Williamson was a proud veteran of the United States Navy and served during both WWII and the Korean War. He worked for many years with Metropolitan Life and later worked at Augusta University. He was a longtime member of St. John United Methodist Church and The Kiwanis Club of Uptown Augusta. Mr. Williamson loved people and enjoyed spending time with his family and friends.

In addition to his wife, survivors include his son; Davis Williamson and wife Kathryn of Milledgeville, GA, daughter; Gail W. Skognes and husband Jim of Dunwoody, GA, three grandchildren; Clay Skognes and wife Carla, Chase Williamson and wife Isabelle, Rebecca Ash and husband Brian, five great grandchildren; Anna Skognes, Sarah Skognes, Edie Ash, Emily Ash, and Charlie Ash.

The family will receive friends following the memorial service.
