Chae Yang Yi Braden, was chosen by her savior, Jesus Christ, to enter into the Kingdom of God on Monday, September 27, 2021 at her home, surrounded by her loving family.
Chae was born in Cheonan, South Korea on January 14, 1944 to the late Duk Hee Yi and Oh Soon Yi. The matriarch of her family, Chae was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Her heart of gold poured over into the Korean community where she worked tirelessly to help those in need. Chae is survived by her beloved husband of 56 years, Jimmy Ray Braden Sr.; daughter, Sherry Braden James; three grandchildren, Kendal James, Chaley Mantooth (Rhett), and Laikynn James; great grandson, Damon Mantooth; and many nieces, nephews and cousins. She is also survived by her beloved furry grandson, Thor.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Thursday at Platt’s Belair Road.
