Celia Morrissey

Celia Green Morrissey was born April 2, 1951 in Charleston SC. She was also know as CC to everyone.

Celia was United in Holy Matrimony to Lawrence "Kiko" Morrissey on June 11, 1992. They also resided in Flagstaff, AZ. They were one traveling couple - they enjoyed taking trips, camping, going to Sturgis, Las Vegas, and Laughlin, NV. They always loved exploring.

CC always had that megawatt smile that could light up a room, she also had that loving heart she always helped people. Precious Memories of being with Family, Friends, the Holidays will be cherished forever.

She was preceded in death by her father, Sam Singleton; mother, Louise Singleton; husband, Lawrence "Kiko" Morrissey, sisters, Diane Williams and Mary Glover and brother, Joseph "Jap" Green.

To cherish her memory, she leaves her son, Tyrone Singleton of Sylmar CA; brothers, Torrie Singleton and Sam Singleton both from SC; sisters, Rhonda Robinson of Augusta, GA and Judy Singleton of FL; aunt Evelyn Mosley of Mt. Pleasant, SC; special cousin, Mary Bostic of Mt. Pleasant, SC; special niece & caregiver, Jennifer Garcia of Augusta, GA as well as a host of other relatives and friends, cousins, nieces, nephews.

Friends and family are invited to celebrate her memory from 1-4:30pm on Friday, September 29, 2023 at Platt's Funeral Home 721 Crawford Ave, Augusta, GA 30904.
