Ms. Carolyn (Carrie) Pickens Garrett, 82, beloved daughter of the late William Armstead Garrett and the late Elizabeth Howard Garrett, entered into rest on Thursday, June 11, 2026 at her residence.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 15, 2026 at Westover Memorial Park with The Rev. Dr. Talmadge Joe Bowden and The Rev. Dr. Bunny Simon Williams officiating.

Carrie began her working career at Southern Finance Corporation, which was owned by her father, William A. Garrett and she continued working in the Residential Sales Division after it was purchased by E. G. Meybohm and became Meybohm Realtors. She retired as a vice president. To this day it has continued to provide a safe and inclusive environment for all who seek assistance. It is now funded by the state of Georgia.
