Carol Vicky Calamas, 79, entered into rest on Tuesday, July 16, 2024.
She is survived by her brother James "Jim" Calamas, and her two nieces Christa Calamas and Anne Wallace.
Ms. Calamas was born in Augusta in 1944 to Theo and Koula Calamas, and earned a bachelor’s degree from the University of South Carolina. She worked as a grammar school teacher and at the Georgia Department of Family and Child Services.
A funeral service will be held 10:00 am Friday, July 19, 2024 at Holy Trinity Greek Orthodox Church, Father Vasile Bitere officiating. Interment will follow at Magnolia Cemetery.
