Cameron Blake Seymour, 43, of Appling, GA passed away on Saturday, June 20th, 2026. Cam was born on November 13th, 1982, in Baxley, GA. He was a graduate of the Greenbrier High School class of 2001. Cam spent the majority of his life in Appling, appreciating the beauty of Clarks Hill Lake. He was a cherished son, brother, nephew, and friend who impacted the lives of many with his kind heart and gentle spirit.

Cam is survived by his devoted father, Mark Seymour; his adoring sister, Shay Seymour White, and brother-in-law, Joshua White, of Savannah, GA; along with a large, extended family of many cherished aunts, uncles, and cousins spread throughout the state of Georgia. He is preceded in death by his loving mother, Debora Tomberlin Seymour and his wonderful grandparents, Edwin and Melba Seymour.

Cam was a generous soul who loved his family and friends fiercely. He found joy in the simplicity of nature and enjoyed water sports, spending many of his years on the lake boating, wakeboarding, and fishing. He was an avid sports fan and a lifelong supporter of the Georgia Bulldogs. As a golf enthusiast, Cam was proud to have been raised in the Augusta area and the Masters tournament was an annual highlight for him, as it is for most Augusta natives.

One of Cam’s greatest passions in life was music. He delighted in experiencing live music with his loved ones and was an especially dedicated fan of Widespread Panic, Grateful Dead, and Billy Strings. He was a collector of vintage records and had a natural talent for playing guitar, as well. Cam truly found peace in music in all forms and spoke passionately whenever discussing his favorite bands and show highlights.

Cam’s legacy will be marked by his capacity for caring and helping others. He will be deeply missed by his friends and family, who will find comfort in knowing that he is rejoicing in being reunited with his amazing mother.

A private memorial service celebrating Cam’s life will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Cam’s honor to Widespread Panic’s Tunes for Tots program: https://secure.lglforms.com/form_engine/s/s8I8VEHLzf8aJDQwPm4bTA
