Bessie F. Quick

Bessie F. Quick, 92, entered into rest on Monday, April 16, 2018 at Keysville Nursing Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 19, 2018 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel. Interment to follow at Westover Memorial Park.

Mrs. Quick was born in Gibson, GA and was reared in Augusta. She retired from Fort Gordon where she worked in civil service.

Mrs. Quick is survived by her children, Charles E. Curtis-Quick (Elaine) of Knoxville, TN, Russell A. Quick (Donna) of Waynesboro, GA, Timothy P. Quick (Michelle) of New Ellenton, SC, Christopher S. Quick (Michelle) of Martinez, GA, and Valerie Q. Hawkins (Richard) of Martinez, GA; 10 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and her eight brothers and sisters and their spouses.

The family would like to thank the staffs of Morningside of Evans Assisted Living and Keysville Nursing Home and Rehab.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, April 18, 2018 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
