Barbara Jones Rinker

Barbara Jones Rinker, of Asheville, North Carolina, passed away on December 2, 2025. She was born on September 26, 1938, in Augusta, Georgia.

Barbara was the wife of the late Edward Woodbury Rinker. She is survived by two sons, Rev. George W. Rinker and Frank W. Rinker.

She was an active member of St. Andrew Presbyterian Church in Augusta, where she participated in the life of the congregation and its community programs.

A visitation is scheduled for December 7, 2025, from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at Platt's Funeral Home in Augusta, Georgia. A funeral service will follow on December 8, 2025, at 3:00 PM at St. Andrew Presbyterian Church. Barbara Jones Rinker is remembered by her family and community for her involvement, her commitment to her faith, and the relationships she built throughout her life.
