Barbara Ann Jones

Barbara Ann Jones, wife of the late William S. Jones, entered into rest on Saturday, March 31, 2018 at Doctors Hospital.

Graveside services will be held at 4:00 PM on Monday, April 2, 2018 at Westover Memorial Park with the Rev. Bryan Carter officiating.

Mrs. Jones was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta, where she attended the Academy of Richmond County. She was a former member of Christ Episcopal Church.

She is survived by her two sons; Johnny Wood (Sheila) and Steve Wood, her daughter; Patti Cornette (Scott), a brother; Ray Gay (Dianne), a sister; Kathy Heffernan (George), as well as nine grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

The family will receive friends at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel prior to the service on Monday, from 1:00 until 3:00.
