Allie "Bee" Jackson Barrett Sechrest

Mrs. Allie (Bee) Jackson Barrett Sechrest, 107, entered into eternal rest on Thursday, April 28, 2022.
Mrs. Sechrest was born in 1915 to the late William and Corrie Jackson in Holland, Georgia. She was married to the late Andy Lee Barrett and the late Robert Paul Sechrest. She was a homemaker and member of Woodlawn Baptist Church of Grovetown, GA. She was affectionately known as “Ms. Bee” to everyone who knew her, and was very active in her Church and other social events within the community she lived in. She was a beloved Mother and Grandmother who gave love to all so unconditionally.
She is survived by her grandson, Millard Barrett “Barry” Bull (Shannon), and her great grandchildren, Stephen Bull and Shane Bull, and fur babies Abby and Muffet. She was preceded in death by her parents; both spouses; daughter Glenda Bull and son-in-law Millard Bull, sisters Beth, Janie, Pauline, Bertha Mae, and Nelle; brother Ray; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday evening, May 3, 2022 from 7:00 until 9:00 PM. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Wednesday, May 4, 2022 at Platt’s Funeral Home, Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Floyd Harrison officiating. Burial will follow the next day, Thursday, May 5, 2022 at Eastview Cemetery in Rome, Georgia.
If so desired, memorials may be made to Woodlawn Baptist Church in Grovetown, GA, or the Children’s Hospital of Georgia in Augusta, GA.
