William T. Nettles, Jr.

Augusta, GA – Mr. William T. Nettles, Jr., 74, beloved husband of Tonya Black Nettles, entered into rest on Tuesday, February 21, 2012 at Doctors Hospital.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, March 3, 2012 at Marvin United Methodist Church with Rev. Elizabeth Ackerman officiating.

Mr. Nettles was born in Monroeville, AL and graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi. He served in the US Army and Reserves where he held the rank of Captain. Mr. Nettles worked with Johnson Controls at Fort Gordon, GA until his retirement. He was a faithful member of Marvin United Methodist Church where he served as a Trustee.

In addition to his loving wife, Mr. Nettles is survived by his son, Mark Wyman Nettles; his brother, Richard Nettles of Humble, TX; his four grandchildren, Christopher, Brittany, Ashley, and Megan; and his great-granddaughter, Kaylie

The family will receive friends following the services at the church.
