William David "Pops" Lyons

William David “Pops” Lyons, 49, entered into rest on October 8, 2021.

Graveside services will be held at 12:00 PM on Thursday, October 14, 2021 at West View Cemetery.

David loved his Georgia Bulldogs and Dallas Cowboys. He also had a love for cooking and hanging out with family and friends. David loved his family especially his grandsons. He will be remembered as a big loveable teddy bear who would give the shirt off his back to anyone in need.

David is survived by his children, William David Mosley (Shannon), Chaz Dalton Mosley and Miranda Willis (Richard); his brother, George Toby Lyons (Mary); his sister, Loretta Lynn Washington (Spencer); his grandsons, Soul Yates and Riley Willis; his aunts, Justine Hodges and Shirley Campbell; his significant other and mother of his children, Shannon Stewart; and many extended family members and friends.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, October 13, 2021 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM
