William Clark Bill Bass

AUGUSTA—Dr. William “Bill” Clark Bass, 55 , of Augusta, passed away on Monday, November 2, 2009 at Doctor’s Hospital.

Bill was born November 16, 1953, the son of Madeleine Clark Bass and the late Luther Donley Bass, Jr. of Tarboro, NC.

The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday, November 4, 2009 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 6, 2009 at 11:00 AM in Greenwood Cemetery, Tarboro, NC.

A native of Tarboro, NC., Bill retired after 32 years of education and administration with the Richmond County School System. Bill had a passion for sharing knowledge and a great desire to see children fulfill their dreams. Bill’s passion for teaching and sharing continued after his retirement when he became a Tastefully Simple Team Manager and Independent Consultant and involved with “Share our Strength” No Child Hungry. Bill was known by many for his love for others, without thought of himself.

He is survived by his mother, Madeleine Clark Bass; his brother, Charles Donley Bass and wife, Darlene of Tarboro, NC. He is also survived by special friends, Rob Smith of Augusta, GA. And Michelle Hagan and husband, Rusty of Waynesboro, GA.
