Wiley Edward Kitchings

Wiley Edward Kitchings, 87, of Augusta, GA passed away at his home on Friday, September 15, 2023.

Wiley was born in Aiken, SC to Woodrow & Mildred Kitchings on February 9, 1936. He went to school in Aiken, SC. He married Kat Kitchings on June 20, 1996 in Augusta, GA.

He worked for Procter & Gamble for 34 years. He served in the Army Reserves.

Wiley is preceded in death by his Father; Woodrow Kitchings, Mother; Mildred Burnett Kitchings and three brothers; Wilson Kitchings, Frank Kitchings, and Jimmy Kitchings.

Wiley is survived by his wife; Kat Kitchings, brothers; Wallace Kitchings (LaFaye) and Johnny Kitchings (Monty).

Pallbearers will be: Steve Spinks, Jeff Spinks, Whitney Spinks, Garrett Wood, Gabrial Kitchings and Chris Kitchings.

Memorials may be given to First Christian Church, 629 Greene Street, Augusta, GA 30901.

The family of Wiley Kitchings wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Georgia Hospice Care, nurses Tracy, Denise, and Dana, and Chaplin Jack and George, also, Terrie Levy (private nurse).

The family will receive friends from 1 PM until time of service, Funeral services will be held 2 PM Wednesday, September 20, 2023, at First Christian Church with the Reverend Jack Snellgrove and Reverend Jack Foley officiating.
