Wendy Wilson Prickett

Augusta, GA – Mrs. Wendy Wilson Prickett, beloved wife of Randy Prickett, entered into rest on Monday, September 17, 2012 at University Hospital. Wendy fought a long hard battle, but she never gave up the fight because of her love for her children and family.

Funeral service will be held at 4:00 PM on Friday, September 21, 2012 at West Acres Baptist Church with Rev. Mark Maund officiating. Burial will follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

A native of Augusta, GA., Mrs. Prickett was the school secretary at Columbia Middle School. Wendy loved her job and was more than just a school secretary. She was a mother figure to present and past students. Wendy had a love and a heart of gold for her students and parents.

Additional survivors include her daughters, Bailey Watkins and Shelby Watkins; father and mother, Tommy and Erline Wilson; brother, Thomas Wilson (Courtney); mother in law, Sherry Prickett; step-daughter, Casi Salvatore (Dustin); step-son, Shane Prickett (Krystal ); grandchildren, Landyn Salvatore, Austin Prickett, Madison Prickett; nephew, Devon Wilson; niece, Emma Wilson.

Pallbearers will be the Richmond County Sheriff’s Department. Honorary pallbearers will be cousins of Wendy.

Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 20, 2012 from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

The family would like to thank the Doctors and Staff at Augusta Oncology Associates and Riverview Methodist Church.
