Thelma Epps Sizemore

Augusta- Mrs. Thelma Epps Sizemore, widow of the late Powell Sizemore, entered into rest on Tuesday, September 21, 2010 at University Hospital.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 24, 2010 at 11:00 AM at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.

Mrs. Sizemore is survived by her son, K.C. Jordan, Jr. of Appling, her daughters, Kathy Brubaker of Forsythe, GA., and Melody West of Mobile , AL., two step daughters, Diane McLeod of Sacramento, CA., and Kay Hawkins of Kansas City, KS., as well as 13 grandchildren and four step grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Arthur Epps, and her sisters, Mildred Miller, Margaret Furr, Helen Helinski, Julia Darnell, Ruby Holsenbake and Jessie Maddison.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, September 23, 2010 from 5:00 until 7:00 PM.
