Sonya (Ret.) Ltc Laubscher

Martinez – LTC Sonya Riddick Laubscher, 79, entered into rest on Friday, August 22, 2014 at Georgia Regents Medical Center.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, September 2, 2014 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with the Rev. Dr. J. Andrew Menger officiating.

LTC Laubscher was a graduate of Butler High School and Georgia State College for Women, before earning her Master’s Degree from the University of Denver. She was a veteran of the United States Army, where she retired with the rank of Lieutenant Colonel.

She is survived by her sister, Dr. Joan Adamson (IST-SGT David), her niece, Lauren Moyer (SFC Brian), and her nephew, Dr. Paul MacDonald. She was a good soldier and a beloved sister and aunt.
