Shelby K. Junkins

Grovetown, GA - Shelby K. Junkins, 65, loving wife of 45 years to Allen Junkins, entered into rest on Tuesday, December 26, 2017.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, December 30, 2017 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. Chapel with Pastor Wesley Weatherford officiating. Burial will follow at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

In addition to her husband, survivors include two sons; Michael Junkins (Valerie) of Augusta, GA, Chris Junkins (Dina) of Myrtle Beach, SC, daughter; Amanda Kraus (Andrew) of Grovetown, GA, two brothers; Charles Kersey (Vicky), Steve Kersey (Brenda), eight grandchildren; Jonathan Turner, Austin Hubert, Taylor Junkins, Matthew Hubert, Evan Junkins, Evan Hubert, Matt Junkins, Emily Junkins. She was preceded in death by brothers; Harvey Kersey, James Kersey, and sister; Martha Rachenbaugh.

The family will receive friends from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, December 29, 2017 at the funeral home.
