Samuel F. Sfc Walden, Sr.

SFC Samuel F. Walden Sr. (Ret), beloved husband of 60 years of Donita Sample Walden, entered into rest on Saturday, February 3, 2018 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 4:00 PM on Thursday, February 8, 2018 at Augusta First Church of the Nazarene with Pastor Joseph Lennon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time.

Samuel, an Army retiree, was a longtime member of Augusta First Church of the Nazarene. He had a strong faith, and love for his Savior, Jesus Christ.

In addition to his wife, Donita, he is survived by his children; Sam Walden Jr (Caroline), David Walden (Carrie), Donna Conrad, and Sandy McKie (David), his brother and sister; Jim Walden and Alice Martin, as well as ten grandchildren and four great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; Cecil and Elsie Ruth Walden, and his siblings.
