Rose Nell Shaw

Appling,GA- Mrs. Rose Nell Shaw age 84, wife of the late Tommy Shaw entered into rest at Doctor’s Hospital on Monday, March 30, 2009.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 4, 2009 in the Belair Rd. Chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home at 12:00 noon with Reverend John C. Davis officiating.

Survivors include, one daughter, Linda Blanchard of Evans, one granddaughter, Marci Tankersley Boyd and her husband Dean, four great grandchildren, Lauren Erica Scott, Clayton Dean Boyd, Lindi Rose Boyd, and Lani Elizabeth Boyd. Mrs. Shaw was preceded in death by one grandson, Leonard Eric Tankersley.

Mrs. Shaw worked along side her husband Tommy at the Tommy Shaw Marina at Clarks Hill for many years. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother and friend. She will be missed by her family and friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, April 4, 2009 at the funeral home from 10:00 until 12:00 p.m.
