Roger H. Davis

Evans, GA – Roger H. Davis, 47, entered into rest on Tuesday December 23, 2008 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday December 27, 2008 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd. chapel with Rev. Clayton Davis officiating.

Roger enjoyed spending time coaching baseball and fishing. He was also a member of the Augusta Sailing Club. Roger served in the United States Air Force and worked for Southern Company at Plant Vogtle.

Survivors include his loving wife of 25 years; Katie Davis of Evans, his son; Rex Davis of Evans, one brother; Rick Davis of Goldsboro, NC, three sisters; Sheliah Davis of Trenton, SC, Carol Irish of Cutoff, LA, and Pam Bryant of Brownwood, TX.

The family will receive friends one hour prior to service time at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd.
