Robert William Harper

Mr. Robert William “Bobby” Harper, III, 34, of Grovetown, Georgia passed away on Friday, August 5, 2022.

Mr. Harper was born September 12, 1987 in Augusta, Georgia, son of Dr. Robert William Harper, II and Sheila Allen Harper. He attended Westminster Preparatory School and Georgia Southern University (where he earned honors), as well as Augusta University. He currently was the Manager of Takeout at Outback Steakhouse in Augusta. Bobby was a kindhearted man showing compassion to others and a deep love for his parents, sisters, and especially his nieces and nephews. He was affable, very funny, and a true and faithful friend to many. His loss will be felt in many hearts!

In addition to his loving parents, he is survived by his sisters: Rachel Tyson (husband Brian), Julianne Harper, Christine Coxwell (husband Andrew), and Dr. Sherilyn Harper (fiancé Matthew Somma); his loving nieces and nephews: Parker, Jackson, Sawyer, and Hailey Tyson, and Harper Coxwell. He is also survived by his maternal grandfather, Dr. Herbert Allen.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, August 13, 2022 at 3 pm in the Chapel of Platt’s Funeral Home located at 337 North Belair Road in Evans, GA 30809. A visitation will be held beginning at 1 pm until the hour of service at the funeral home.
