Richard W. Robirds

Martinez, GA – Mr. Richard W. Robirds, 85, husband of the late Jo Ellen Robirds, entered into rest on Saturday October 18, 2008 at his residence.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday October 22, 2008 at The Church of the Good Shepherd with the Very Reverend Robert D. Fain and Rev. Dr. J. Andrew Menger officiating.

Mr. Robirds retired from Halliburton Oil Services. He served in the Army during WWII as a pilot.

Survivors include two daughters, Cristine Robirds of Martinez, Bobbie J. Bates and husband James Owen Bates of St. Louis, MO, three grandchildren, James O. Bates, Carrie A. White, Cheryl L. Engelmann, and four great grandchildren, Brianna White, John White, Courtney Engelmann, and Cesia Bates. Mr. Robirds was preceded in death by his son, Patrick D. Robirds.
