Mrs. Montie Mills Tuttle

Martinez, GA – Mrs. Montie Mills Tuttle, age 75, beloved wife of Mr. Z. Lawson Tuttle went to be with the Lord following her thirteen year battle with cancer on Monday, September 7, 2009 at home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, September 10, 2009 at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Pastor Larry Harmon officiating. Interment to follow at Westover Memorial Park.

A native of Augusta, Mrs. Tuttle worked until her retirement as a supervisor with Hancock Fabrics. She was also a member of West Acres Baptist Church.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Tuttle is survived by her mother, Myrtie Scoggins Conner of Martinez; her two daughters, Treva Tuttle Jackson and husband Charles of Buford, GA and Tina Marie Westbrook and husband Michael of Grovetown; her two brothers, Joel Conner and wife Vicki of Tampa, FL and G.W. Mills of West Columbia, SC; her two sisters, Patsy Amerson and Martha Greene both of Augusta; her four grandchildren, C. Wesley Jackson, Nicholas H. Jackson and wife Jessica, Mary Beth Westbrook, and Shane Westbrook; and also a number of nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Mrs. Tuttle’s sons-in-law, her grandsons, and a cousin.

The family would like to thank Trinity Hospice for their kindness and support given to us during our difficult days.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening, September 9, 2009 from 7:00 to 9:00 PM.
