Mona Stewart Masterson

Lincolnton, GA – Mrs. Mona Stewart Masterson, 84, beloved wife of the late William P. “Bat” Masterson, entered into rest on Monday, February 10, 2014 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel with Chaplain Stephen Russ officiating. Interment to follow in Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Masterson was a member of American Legion Post 192 and also Senior Friends in Lincolnton. She will be remembered as a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.

Mrs. Masterson is survived by her two daughters, Angelina Rawlins (Mark) of Lincolnton and Angelita Jacobson of Augusta; her sister, Mary Stewart Benton of Charleston, SC; her five grandchildren; and her seven great-grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be Chris Rawlins, John McDaniel, Dylan Arthur, Stephen Gonzalo, William Lonergan, and Justin Pruitt. Mr. Jeff Jacobson will serve as an honorary pallbearer.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday evening, February 14, 2014 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM.
