Mildred L. Mrs. Godwin

Blythe, GA---Mrs. Mildred L. Godwin, 74, entered into rest on Monday, March 12, 2012, at her residence.
Funeral services and interment will be “Private”, with Dr. Jacob O. Malone officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday, March 14, 2012 from 3:00 pm to 5:00 pm at Platt’s Crawford Avenue.
Mrs. Godwin was a native of Ware County Georgia, but had been a resident of Blythe, Georgia for 49 years. She was a member of the Baptist faith.
Mrs. Godwin was preceded in death by her son, Michael L. Godwin.
She is survived by her husband, of 58 years, Jacky L. Godwin of Blythe, GA, daughters, Gerelda Ann Bell (Martin) of Columbus, GA and Ruth Ann Oglesby (Ken) of Vidette, GA and by two grandchildren, Vanessa L. Hand (Donald) of Valley, AL and Curtis Michael Oglesby of Vidette, GA.
