Augusta, GA---Mrs. Mildred Bradley Seigler, 83, wife of the late William T. “Bill” Seigler, Sr., entered into rest on Wednesday, July 7, 2010, at her residence.
Funeral services will be held on Saturday, July 10, 2010 at 1:30 pm, at St. Augustines Episcopal Church, 3321 Wheeler Road, Augusta, GA, with Reverend Billy Alford and Father Neal Phelps officiating. Interment will follow at Westover Memorial Park.
Mrs. Seigler was a native and lifelong resident of Augusta and was a member of St. Augustines Episcopal Church. She was named Woman of the Year of the Merry Weeders Garden Club, where she served as President and Secretary. She was also a member of the Metropolitan Women’s Club, where she served in many offices, including President and as Chair Person, of the Tallulah Falls School project.
Those who preceded her in death, other than her husband, include her daughter, Robin Lee Seigler, parents, Vandy and Ruth Raffini Bradley and brother, Billy Bradley.
She is survived by her son, William Thomas “Thom” Seigler, Jr. of Augusta, daughters, Angela Seigler of Augusta, Norma S. Wallace of Wrens, GA, granddaughter, Sarah S. Yates (Seth) of Atlanta, GA and sister, Ada B. Miller and husband, Gerald L. Miller of Augusta.
The family will receive friends, prior to the services on Saturday, July 10, 2010, at St. Augustines Episcopal Church, from 12 Noon to 1:00 pm.
