Michael Eugene "Mike" Brown

Michael Eugene “Mike” Brown, 68, entered into rest on December 25, 2022 after an extensive and courageous battle with bladder cancer.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, December 29, 2022 at Platt’s Crawford Avenue Chapel. Interment to follow at Westover Memorial Park. The family will receive friends one hour prior to services at the funeral home.

Mike loved his work in the commercial real estate development field; he was a passionate animal lover, saltwater fisherman and an avid LSU Tigers football fan.

He leaves behind his wife, June Darby; his children, Graham, Clinton and Alison Godley (Grayson); grandchildren, Charlie and Ben Godley; and by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and two beloved fur babies Nate and Cissy.
