Maury Shelley

Mr. Maury Hunter Shelley, beloved husband of Jamie Shelley, entered into rest on Thursday, March 12, 2020.
Funeral services will be held at 10:30 AM on Saturday, March 21, 2020 at Platts Belair Road Chapel. The family will receive friends, starting at 9:00 AM until service time.
Maury Shelley was born in Arizona and retired after 20 years of service in the United States Air Force.
He was a loving husband to his wife Jamie and proud father to Chandler, Jaded, Major, Jancee, Kaydence, Diederich, Roman, Elaina and Adam. He adored his mother and father, Craig and Jessie Shelley and his siblings, Tyson Shelley, McKenzie Shelley Hampton, Stacey Haslan and Cristi Bird.
The family will be establishing a scholarship in Mr. Shelley's name. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Jamie Shelley. Contributions can be mailed to Platt's Funeral Home, 337 North Belair Road, Evans, Ga., 30809, or contact Mrs. Shelley at 850-619-8716.
