Martha A. Dailey

Martha A. Dailey, age 92, entered into eternal rest on Saturday, February 9, 2019 following a prolonged struggle with multiple myeloma.

Martha was born in Savannah to the late William Lemoyne Minturn and Mary Helen Frieze Minturn. She was the beloved wife of the late LTC Bernard C. Dailey, Jr., USA and a loving mother of six children.

She was a well-known tax consultant and partner for the Augusta firm- The Tax Man where she worked for more than two decades.

She is survived by her children, Barney Dailey (Debbie), Steve Dailey (Jill), Liz Wylds (Irvin), Carol Reasoner (Steve), Ken Dailey, and Laura Bentley (Ted); eight grandchildren, Michael Dailey, Brandon Dailey, Joseph Dailey (Aleen), Hallie Ritz (Matt), Tyler Parsons (Amy), Courtney Parsons, Sean Bentley, and Austin Bentley; and seven great grandchildren, Savanah Dailey, Hunter Dailey, Penelope Dailey, Atticus Ritz, Zoe Rits, Veda Mae Parsons, and Carys Parsons.

The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. Wednesday at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel.

A graveside service will be 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 14, 2019 at Westover Memorial Park. Reverend Tom Kalliokoski will officiate.
