Linda Partridge Wilson

Ms. Linda Partridge Wilson, a loving Mother, Grandmother, Sister and friend, entered into rest August 28, 2008.

She was born in Appling Georgia to the late John H. and Willie Sleister Partridge and was a lifelong resident of Columbia County. She was raised in what is now Evans Town Center, graduated from the old Evans High School, was for many years a member of Evans Baptist Church and later was a charter member of Trinity Baptist Church in Martinez

Funeral services will be conducted at Platt’s Funeral Home, Belair Road Chapel on Sunday August 31st at 3 p.m. with Rev. Joe Woods and Rev Jeff Harris officiating. Interment will be in the First Baptist Church of Evans cemetery.

Survivors include 3 sons, Thomas M. Wilson Jr.(June), Evans GA, Phillip E. Wilson, Atlanta, GA, Patrick G. Wilson (Melinda), Augusta. 1 Brother, John H. Partridge Jr.(Deborah) Evans GA, 2 sisters, Sandra P. Clark, Lincolnton GA and Patricia P. Slagle (Jim), Evans GA. 5 Granddaughters, Faith Wilson, Evans GA.,Jacie & Cameron Wilson, Atlanta GA., Amanda Edwards, Evans GA & Brittany Wilson, Augusta GA. She was preceded in death by a sister, Mary Elizabeth (Polly) Partridge Wheatley.

Pallbearers will be Clay Clark ,Greg Slagle, Brent Slagle, Chris Clark, Wesley Welsh and Rick Stringfield

Visitation will be at Platt’s Funeral Home, Belair Road Saturday, August 30 from 6-8 pm.
