Lillian C. Bretz

Augusta, GA – Mrs. Lillian C. Bretz, 82, beloved wife of the late Ronald D. Bretz, Sr., entered into rest on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 at her residence.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Augusta’s First Assembly of God, 1613 Fenwick Street, with Pastor Baxter Stanley officiating. Entombment to follow in the mausoleum at Bellevue Memorial Gardens.

Mrs. Bretz was a longtime member of Augusta’s First Assembly of God.

Mrs. Bretz is survived by her son, Ronald D. (Dale) Bretz, Jr. of Opelika, AL; her daughter, Cheryl B. (Adam) Childs of Tampa, FL; her brothers, Henry (Mary Ann) Lynn of Alabama, Jake Lynn of Louisiana, and David (Janice) Lynn of Virginia; her sister-in-law, Laureen Lynn; her former sister-in-law, Gloria Lynn; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Bretz was preceded in death by her parents, Jacob Lynn and Opal Miller Lynn; by her brother, Tom Lynn; and sister-in-law, Lynn Lynn.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday evening, October 17, 2013 from 6:00 until 8:00 PM.
