Laura Jean Sesto

Evans, GA – Laura Jean Sesto, 94, wife of the late Joseph John Sesto, entered into rest on Wednesday, March 21, 2012.

A rosary will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, March 24, 2012 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Road Chapel with Rev. Mike Ingram officiating. Burial will take place at a later date in Arlington National Cemetery in Arlington, VA.

Survivors include her son, Patrick Sesto, DPM and wife Marie of Evans, GA, three daughters, Gail Singer of San Marcos, CA, Val Sylva and husband Frank of Grass Valley, CA, Edwina Cooper and husband Ron of San Jose, CA, two sisters, Marie Douglas of La Plata, MD, Alice Embree of CA, and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mrs. Sesto was preceded in death by one son, Eddie Pereira, three brothers, William McDermott, Harold McDermott, and Lawrence McDermott, one sister, Florence Hancock.

The family will receive friends following the rosary.
