Larry Wesley Raulerson

Evans, Ga – Mr. Larry Wesley Raulerson, 71, passed on Wednesday, December 7, 2016.

He was born in West Palm Beach, FL, on January 30, 1945 to Alexander and Nancy Raulerson. Mr. Raulerson, a native of Okeechobee, FL, served as an Air Force pilot during the Vietnam Conflict. He received a Bachelor’s of Education from Florida State University, and a Master’s of Education from Clemson University. He influenced many young lives as a teacher and a principal in Fayette and Dawson counties. He was a member of Carnesville United Methodist Church.

He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Elaine Marshall Raulerson; daughter Shannon Raulerson Colvin (Randy); son Matthew Wesley Raulerson (Melissa); grandchildren, Maggie and Bryce; sister-in-law Cindy Marshall, and life-long friend, Bob Basham.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, December 17, 2016 at Briarcliff Baptist Church in Atlanta with the Rev. Thomas Moon officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
