Krista Hollabaugh Layman

Martinez – Mrs. Krista Hollabaugh Layman, 61, beloved wife of Dr. Lawrence C. Layman, entered into rest on Saturday, July 26, 2014.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 1, 2014 at 2:00 PM at Platt’s Belair Road Chapel with Chaplain Frankie May officiating. The family will receive friends two hours prior to service time.

Krista, born in Des Moines, Iowa, grew up in Stow, Ohio. She attended Wittenberg University as an undergraduate, and went on to earn her Masters in Occupational Therapy from Western Michigan University. She met her husband, Larry, in Cincinnati and they married in 1982. Krista was a beautiful, caring, and selfless person who will remain forever present in our hearts.

In addition to her husband, Larry, she is survived by her son, Kyle Lawrence Layman (wife, Pamela), her daughter, Katelin Louise Layman; her mother, Ingrid Hollabaugh; her sisters, Kim Marschik (husband, Eric) and Karin Ansell, her brother, Kurt Hollabaugh; her Uncle Lenny (wife, Carol) and her aunts Louise Fall (husband, Bill) and Irene Chambers (husband, Ben); and lastly, her beloved doggies, Corbin and Finley, and special granddoggies, Tracy and Winston.
