Kathleen “Kathy” R. Landrum, loving wife of 45 years to William “Billy” Robert Landrum, Sr., entered into rest on Saturday, January 18, 2014.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, January 24, 2014 at New Hope Worship Center with Pastor Rich Bowen officiating. Burial will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Park.
Kathy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother. She never met a stranger and loved helping others.
In addition to her husband, survivors include three daughters; Lisa Simpson (Joey), Stephanie Landrum, Michelle Mulrain (Louis), one son; William “Billy” R. Landrum, Jr., her father; James Marion Dawkins, four brothers; Jimmy Dawkins, Gary Dawkins, Craig Dawkins, Pat Dawkins, five grandchildren; Zackary Landrum, Olivia Simpson, Anna Simpson, Logan Mulrain, and Colton Mulrain. Kathy was preceded in death by her mother; Roseddie Dawkins, and sister; Gloria Jean Dobbs.
The family will receive friends from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Thursday, January 23, 2014 at Platt’s Funeral Home Belair Rd.
