Judith Lamkin

Augusta, GA – Mrs. Judith Lee Lamkin, 62, wife of Mr. Hogan Lamkin, entered into rest on Sunday, December 18, 2011 at Doctor’s Hospital.

A private funeral services will be held on Friday, December 23, 2011 at the Bellevue Memorial Gardens Chapel with Elder J. Welcher officiating.

Additional survivors include her daughter, Angela Sherrod(Ronald);two brothers, Dennis James Murray, Sr. and Mike Murray; two sisters, Sylvia Lee Murray and Eva Jean Murray; three grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. Mrs. Lamkin was preceeded in death by her daughter, Glenda Jean Gainey.

A native of Thomson, GA., Mrs. Lamkin was a member of the United House of Prayer for all Peoples of Harlem, GA. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt.

Active pallbearers will be Timothy Dalton, Kenneth Robinson, Tracy Robinson, Daniel Ramsey, Clifford Gainey and Catron Gainey.
