Juanita Whitehead Bugg

Augusta, GA - Mrs. Juanita Whitehead Bugg, 84, wife of the late William Henry Bugg, entered into rest Saturday, June 28, 2014.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM on Tuesday, July 1, 2014 at Hillcrest Memorial Park in Augusta, GA with Rev. Edward Cadle and Rev. Bill Hilley officiating.

Mrs. Bugg was born in Augusta, Georgia to the late Henry Mims Whitehead and Ethel Reeder Whitehead. She was a loving wife and mother, and spent her life serving others. She was a 1946 graduate of Tubman High School. While she was born and raised in Augusta, she also lived with her husband and children in Jacksonville, FL, and Vidalia, GA, before returning to her home town. She was a life-long church member and enjoyed signing in the choir and in various musical programs. Mrs. Bugg served in multiple children’s ministries and kept a beautiful yard.

She is survived by her four children; Teresa (Terry) Taylor, Graniteville, SC, Mike (Cynthia) Bugg, Martinez, GA, Bert (Kathy) Bugg, Augusta, GA, Matt (Betty) Bugg, Grovetown, GA; five grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her brother, Henry Mims Whitehead, Jr., and sister, Lucile Whitehead Hammack.

Honorary pallbearers will be Parker Bugg, Shane Cunningham, Josh Johnson, Jonathan Joyner, Josh Larson, and Greg Power.
