James "Jimmy" Melvin House, Jr.

James M. House Jr. 74 entered into rest on September.25, 2021 peacefully at home with his family listening to his favorite music.

James was born on December 11, 1946 in Paris, Texas. In his early years he served in the US Army as a paratrooper with the 385th signal company he received five medals after two tours in Vietnam. He worked many years as a welder for Luker engineering and later worked for Thermal Ceramics doing plant maintenance until his retirement in 2013. James enjoyed several hobbies including golf, pool, hunting and playing guitar.

He is preceded in death by parents Lloyd & Wanda Jean Jones, brother Rodger House, son James M. House, III "JIMI" and two granddaughters Kristi and Kalina House. James is survived by Patricia House and their two children Stuart & Kimberly, grandchildren Patrick, Blayke, Cody, Trenton, Nathan, Tyler, Layla & Mason and great grandson Aiden. Karen house and children David & Adam grandchildren, Hayden, Dana, Adam, John Michael, Gavin, Alex, Laura, Chloe, Isabella, and Noah. Many nieces and nephews, great friends and loved ones.
